PEL Associates Receives SBIR Award From NAVAIR
To Develop Underwater Vehicle Sensor Tracking System
Groton, CT - Dr. Morton L. Wallach, President and CEO of PEL
Associates at 1084 Shennecossett Rd. announces that PEL Associates
has received a Phase I SBIR $100K Award from the Naval Air Warfare
Center with potential follow-on to $750K.
This work sponsored by NAVAIR involves "Noncooperative Tracking
of Underwater Vehicle" including prediction of system performance
capabilities and quantification of system design tradeoffs.
Objectives require innovative devices which will detect and track
underwater vehicles and reduce the adversary's ability to hide, take
evasive maneuvers, or conduct tactical operations. PEL
Associates is located at the Marine
Sciences Technical Center at the University of Connecticut in
Groton, CT.
