Submarine Escape Trunk Cofferdam

Groton, CT - Dr. Morton L. Wallach, President and CEO of PEL Associates at 1084 Shennecossett Road. announces that PEL Associates has received a Phase I SBIR Award from the Office of Naval Research. This work sponsored by Sublant involves "Submarine Forward Escape Trunk Cofferdam" system design and installation. This is a teaming effort of PEL Associates and JMS Naval Architects and Salvage Engineers collocated at the Seatech Business Center at the University of Connecticut in Groton, CT.

PEL Associates provides technology services to industrial, marine and defense applications. Key activities focus on advanced materials and processing, frequently keyed to new designs providing innovative functionality. Other PEL activities include product and market development, process optimization, manufacturing support, technology transfer, and strategic planning.
